PrayerPoint is a spiritual journaling and prayer app. We take the privacy of your spiritual content seriously. This section explains exactly what data the app collects, where it is stored, and how it is used.
By downloading and using PrayerPoint, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. Because the app handles content that may reveal your religious beliefs and spiritual practices, we apply the highest level of data protection available. Your prayer journal, requests, and devotional history remain in your private iCloud database and are not accessible to Mene Callings LLC.
You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the app and requesting deletion of your community data (see Data Deletion below).
Prayer content, devotional history, and spiritual preferences may reveal your religious beliefs. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Article 9), this is classified as special category sensitive data and is entitled to the highest level of protection. We apply this standard to all users globally, not only EU residents.
All of the following is stored in your private iCloud (CloudKit) database. Mene Callings LLC cannot read, access, or export this content:
When you generate an AI prayer, the context, emotions, and prayer category you provide are sent to our secure server infrastructure, which forwards them to a third-party AI provider. This content is used solely to generate your prayer response. It is not stored on our servers, not retained by the AI provider after generation, and not used to train any AI model.
If you use the Communities feature, the following data is stored on our secure servers (located in the United States):
Content you share in a group is visible to all members of that group. Group data is associated with your account identifier.
We use an authorized third-party subscription management service to handle in-app subscriptions. This service may collect your Apple-assigned customer ID, subscription status, and purchase history. Your payment information is handled entirely by Apple and is never accessible to us.
Your private prayer data is stored in Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. While Mene Callings LLC cannot access this data, Apple may be compelled to disclose it under a valid legal order. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and their transparency reporting. We recommend reviewing Apple's policies if this is a concern for you.

Mene Callings LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or spiritual content to any third party for any purpose, including advertising. This applies to all users regardless of location.

PrayerPoint is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users aged 13–17 should have parental or guardian consent before using the app. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us immediately at contact@menecallings.com and we will delete it promptly.

Your community data is stored on our secure servers in the United States. Our cloud infrastructure provider participates in data transfer frameworks that provide appropriate safeguards for transfers of personal data from the EU. Your private prayer data is stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure, which operates under Apple's data transfer agreements.
